LiveARTS Concert Update: Gruber and Stowe - Jan 29

2016–2017
CONCERT SEASON
Soprano Sari Gruber and pianist Cameron Stowe will present a recital of songs at the third LiveARTS concert of the 2016–2017 season. They will perform music by Franz Schubert, Manuel de Falla, Samuel Barber, Charles Ives, William Bolcom, and others. The concert will be given on Sunday, January 29 at 3:30 p.m.

Sari Gruber
American soprano Sari Gruber was born in Boston, but grew up in Germany until she was about 9, when she returned to the United States. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Master of Music in Voice from the Julliard School. Her love of recital brought her to study song literature at both the Tanglewood Music Center and the Ravinia Festival's Steans Institute. At home in vocal repertoire from opera, songs, oratorio, and the symphonic literature, Sari Gruber has performed in all these capacities around the world.
Cameron Stowe
Cameron Stowe
Pianist Cameron Stowe earned his Bachelor's degree from Oberlin College Conservatory and a Master's degree from the Peabody Conservatory (Johns Hopkins). He has appeared in concert venues and music festivals all around the world, playing with some of most prominent concert singers and of his generation. Since 2008, Stowe has served as Chair of the Collaborative Piano department at New England Conservatory and as a faculty member at The Julliard School. He has given masterclasses for singers and pianists throughout the United States and abroad. 
On April 23, the final concert of our season will feature a musical trio including Bruce Creditor, clarinet, Donald Krishnaswami, viola, and Lorena Tecu, piano. You will receive a reminder email about that concert.

All LiveARTS concerts are held on Sunday afternoons at 3:30 p.m. at the Meetinghouse of the First Universalist Society, 262 Chestnut Street, Franklin, Massachusetts. The Meetinghouse is fully accessible. Doors open at 3:00 p.m., and seating is open.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, $10 for students, and free for children under 12. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
