Empty Bowls Project to help the Franklin Food Pantry

Clay is shaped to a bowl, hand painted, then glazed and fired. The collaboration around the art of making the bowl is at the heart of the Franklin Cultural Festival.

Over 300 bowls were made by association members, then glazed and fired with help from Brenna Johnson, ceramics teacher at Franklin High School.

These colorful bowls were donated to the Franklin Food Pantry and will be for sale during the festival.
